Marta Jiménez, a beloved Spanish TV presenter renowned for her daring stunts, has died in a BASE jumping accident in the Pyrenees mountains of northern Spain. She was 34.
Jiménez, best known for her role on the popular Spanish talk show El Hormiguero (“The Anthill”), earned the nickname “Adrenaline Woman” for performing high-risk challenges on-air. Her death was confirmed by her co-host, Pablo Motos, in an emotional statement shared on social media.

According to the show’s statement, Jiménez was injured during a BASE jump on Sunday. Despite rapid response from emergency services, she could not be saved.
One of her most iconic moments on El Hormiguero included a 200-foot jump from a crane — a stunt she completed despite a panic attack beforehand, as reported by Semana. Motos shared a video of that moment in his tribute, recalling how she celebrated with exhilaration once the stunt was complete.
